An annual celebration in Maghreb Region, North Africa. This is where a  family gathered  together and have a bountiful meal  as they welcome new year that is in accordance to the Julian Calendar.

Timket Festival, Feast of Epiphany

This is the biggest festival in Ethiopia. Where in celebrated way back 1000 years ago. Places that are best to celebrate Timket Festival are Gondar, Lalibela and Addis Ababa.

Festival on the Niger

Festival on the Niger is actually a cultural festival that celebrates music and traditions of Segou region. There are several West African artists performed as a guest. Traditional dance troupes and puppeteers are part of the exhibitions of art and craft.

Sauti za Busara Swahili Music Festival

For 4000 years, every time Egyptian celebrates this Sham el Nessim or the Sniffing the Breeze they usually take their families to gatherings like picnics and outing. Ate salted fish, colored boiled eggs and green onions. The said festival is usually celebrated in Monday following the Coptic Calendar.
