Canal Walk
This is the largest shopping center in Africa in lettable area and one of the largest in Africa. It has 400 stores, 20 cinemas, numbers of restaurants and game arcade. Starts its operation since 2000 and has been visited by tourist all over the world.

Somerset Mall
 This has several shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cinemas. Somerset Mall is the home of some well known surfing shops like Billabong and Hangten.

Gateway Theatre of Shopping
 The 8th largest shopping center in southern hemisphere. Also known as the largest shopping mall in Africa. It has 18 movie theaters, playhouse, restaurants and over 300 stores. In March 2007, the retail area is already reached 166,000 sq.m. Located in Umhlangha, north of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

 

Cresta Shopping Centre.
 Located in Johannesburg, South Africa. This shopping center is originally has a train model which been popular until it was removed in 1988. Cresta Shopping Centre is actually ranked as one of the largest shopping center in the Southern Hemisphere.

Donsonville Shopping Centre
Located at Dobsonville, Johannesburg, South Africa. It is the first shopping center in Soweto and a sign of an economic growth.

 

Eastgate
It is consider to be the first super regional shopping center. During 1979 when it was start its operation it was dubbed as the largest shopping center in southern hemisphere. It is also known as Africa’s Greatest Shopping adventure.

Sarit Centre
 It is Kenya’s biggest and busiest shopping mall. Opened in 1983 and located in Nairobi, Kenya. Sarit Centre has 300 seats for cinema and 1,500 sq.ft food court and has a total retail floor area of 250,000 sq.ft.

 

Star Centre
It is actually considered as the biggest in Middle East. Located in Cairo Egypt and was opened in 2004. It has 7 entrances and exits, LCD screens for advertisements and security monitors.

 

Palms Shopping Mall
 Located in Lekki Peninsula, Lagos, Nigeria and was opened in March 2006. Palms Shopping Mall is the largest and the first of its kind in the whole land of Nigeria. It has 69 stores and six modern screen cinemas. Convenient parking lot is available that would cover a thousand cars.

Menlyn Park
It is the largest shopping center in Pretoria. Menlyn Park is owned by Old Mutual properties. It has a total area of 115 000 m². also known as the most prestigious and popular shopping center in Pretoria.
